Individual Therapy
I recognize that everyone’s therapeutic journey looks different, which is reflected in my client-centred and trauma-informed approach. I aim to create a safe, authentic, and non-judgmental environment to allow individuals to explore their goals, values, and strengths, and identify barriers that are causing distress in life. I work with teens (16+) and adults.

Trauma-Informed
Trauma-informed in a nutshell means viewing your problems through the lens of "What has happened to you in your life experiences?" versus "What is wrong with you?" Unfortunately, not every family member, friend, teacher, healthcare professional, institution, etc., is trauma-informed. Not being trauma-informed can intensify feelings of self-blame, guilt, and shame for those who disclose to others the difficult life experiences that they have endured. One over-arching goal of therapy is to reduce a person's emotional suffering, not add to it.

-Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
-Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT)
-Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
